Personal information that RAMP Training Group Ltd may collect, use, process, store and share about you may include, but is not limited to:

  • Training records (for example log book hours, IRATA number, current level of training, training outcomes and absence details)

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To book onto a training course 
  • As you are looking for work 
  • As you are working with RAMP Training Group Ltd.

We also collect personal data about you when you interact with us and from the personal data you provide to us:

  • When you apply for our services or events 
  • When you deliver services on our behalf
  • When you talk to us on the phone
  • In feedback and surveys
  • In a complaint or appeal
  • When you use our website
  • In emails, letters or other documents.

We may also receive data from other parties such as Corrodere and the company you work for. 

We use this data to provide the following services: 

  • Book your place on a course 
  • Keep you informed about the course you have booked on
  • Keep you informed about future courses
  • To carry out research 
  • To comply with the law  
  • To help secure employment 
  • To allow RAMP Training Group Ltd to operate.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:  

  • Your consent (you are able to remove your consent at any time - you can do this by emailing office@ramptraininggroup.com)

  • We have a legal obligation

We keep personal information about you for six years after the completion/commissioning of the course/services. We may also keep it for less time or longer if this is necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations.

  • To maintain records according to rules that apply to us
  • For research or statistical purposes.

We are also required to retain certain information as required by law, or for as long as is reasonably necessary, to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes and prevent fraud.

Under data protection law, you have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected, in certain circumstances, deleted, transferred or destroyed, or restricted.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
